Dr. Trish Kana (She/Her) PT, DPT

Trish originally graduated from Providence College with a bachelors in marketing, but soon found her love for movement in her post-graduate life in Colorado where she did a lot of hiking, skiing, and yoga. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2023 and has been committed to helping people not only recover from an injury, but get stronger, healthier, and develop better habits for future injury prevention.

She believes, as a PT, her main job is to be an educator/coach to ensure her patients have the right tools to understand their own treatment, helping them play a big part in their own recovery. Her comprehensive understanding of runners’ needs is fueled by ongoing education in movement and gait analysis, and running-specific rehab. Trish is also currently pursuing her running coach certification with the UESCA!

When she’s not treating patients, you can find her exploring Maine with her husband and their new puppy - biking, hiking, playing tennis, or skiing depending on the season(and running, regardless of the season!!)
