Massage Therapy

We believe in the importance of treating the body as a whole versus one body part in isolation.

Massage Therapy serves as an excellent compliment to our Physical Therapy services where our providers can collaborate on your treatment to ensure optimal care and recovery.

Your Massage Experience

STEP 1

Once you start to feel those minor aches and pains or joint stiffness, it may be time to get ahead of the problem before it gets worse! It may be time take matters into your own hands and book a massage. Our massage therapists are here to help the pain, the stiffness, and the consistent fatigue start to go away. We have appointments available Monday-Saturday.

STEP 2

After booking, we encourage you to come 10-15 minutes early to get settled and leave any outside stressors aside so you can fully allow yourself to unwind.. Once you arrive, you’ll meet with your therapist and discuss areas of tension or discomfort. After changing to your comfort level, you can lie on the massage table and let your massage therapist take it from there.

STEP 3

Throughout your massage, your therapist will work on areas that may be contributing to the pain your experiencing. Your job is to focus on relaxing (or dozing off). There may be some muscles more tender than others, but working through those sensitive spots can help loosen up the body, leaving your muscles feeling better and your body feeling relaxed.

STEP 4

After your massage, you’ll leave feeling recovered and ready for your next adventure or workout. It is important to flush out everything that was worked on and to drink plenty of water. It can be helpful to keep maintaining this feeling of recovery, so finding a time for a massage monthly or bi-monthly can keep you active and feeling good both physically and mentally.
