Meghan Beahan (She/Her)
Meghan started running when she joined her high school cross country team, then continued to run for Ithaca College at both the varsity and club level. While living in Ithaca, she was involved in the local running community as an assistant coach for the Ithaca Youth Bureau track and cross country programs and also worked for a local race-timing company.
She joined Starting Line’s Race Ready virtual coaching program as an athlete in 2021 which motivated her to obtain her RRCA Level 1 Coaching Certification and join Race Ready as a coach.
She moved to Maine earlier this year and is excited to be more involved with Starting Line in person!
When not running, you can find Meghan working as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, hiking, biking, working on DIY projects, or spending time with friends and family.
Favorite Race: Run For The Diamonds - 9mi Thanksgiving Day Race in Berwick, PA
Least Favorite Race: Anything shorter than a 5k (maybe even 10k)
Favorite Running Memories: Anytime I’ve worked with a team to meet a new running goal.I also really enjoyed Fall 2020 when I was living in Ithaca, NY and made a point to explore a new running trail every weekend instead of doing long runs on the road.
Starting Line I Have My Eye On: Hoping to run my first full Marathon in 2024!
